London, September 26th 2018 – Challenge Advisory has invited Jim Pantaleo – Vice President- Strategic Business Development of Sananbio U.S. to be a speaker at AG 4.0 in San Francisco from 14-15 November 2018.

Jim will be panellist on the ‘Biotechnology’ stream where discussions will mainly focus on the relation of societal understandings and perspectives on the bio-tech industry in farming, and the question on where resources would be best allocated in relation to the safeguarding of US agriculture and its progression. Also, the panellists will be addressing the Nitrogen’s issue and assessing the advanced technologies for understanding and engineering soil and crop microbiomes, to improve crop yield and food security. Jim will introduce us to Plant-Made Pharmaceuticals.

Mr. Pantaleo is responsible for establishing a new grow division within Sananbio U.S. for plant-made pharmaceuticals (the isolation of key proteins for use in antibiotics and vaccines). He also engages with government agriculture entities (USDA) and credible horticulture universities on behalf of Sananbio U.S. North American facilities and grow operations.

Speaking of AG 4.0, Jim states: “Given the advances in controlled environment agriculture and indoor vertical farming, Sananbio U.S. is very excited to participate in AG 4.0. The implementation of advanced LED lighting technology along with a true need for standardized indoor grow systems makes AG 4.0, and its participants, an outstanding networking venue. Science, technology and horticulture come together at AG 4.0 to address our planet’s most pressing agricultural challenges.”

With the help of the Agricultural Supply Chain, Challenge Advisory have built strong insights into how digitalization can be integrated into US agriculture. The mission for our Agriculture 4.0 workshop is to help farmers better engage with the latest technology available in the market and present a wide range of solutions for the modern farmer.

To address these challenges, we have developed the AG 4.0 workshop, a programme designed around bringing key stakeholders from throughout US agriculture together to tackle the most pressing issues in relation to the stability of the market.
