London, April 12th 2018 – Challenge Advisory announced today that it has formed a partnership with The Climate Corporation, a subsidiary of Monsanto Company, to help augment US agriculture’s digital revolution.
The Climate Corporation will be participating in Agriculture 4.0, an interoperability workshop to be hosted by Challenge Advisory in October 2018. A consortium of service providers from throughout the American agricultural supply chain and beyond will be brought together to develop unprecedented solutions to the most pressing barriers facing the progression of the sector – namely, modernisation and technological integration.
“Any farmer, agronomist or equipment operator will tell you that farming is a team sport. The same holds true for technology providers interested in servicing the farm, and Agriculture 4.0 plays a vital role by bringing together innovators across the agtech spectrum,” said Mark Young, Chief Technology Officer for The Climate Corporation. “We’re looking forward to the summit and the opportunity to share how our Climate FieldViewTM platform can partner with others to increase productivity and farmer profitability through digital solutions.”
Karveh Cavalieri, Managing Partner at Challenge Advisory, echoed these comments stating, “simply put, it’s Challenge Advisory’s job to provide solutions to challenges. Partnering with companies like The Climate Corporation and building working groups allows us to deliver on a much wider range of issues, furthering our ability to provide value across the industry.”
The Climate Corporation aims to help all the world’s farmers sustainably increase their productivity through the use of digital tools. Bringing together seamless field data collection, advanced agronomic modelling and local weather monitoring into simple mobile and web software solutions, their FieldView platform gives farmers a deeper understanding of their fields so they can make more informed operating decisions to optimise yields, maximise efficiency and reduce risk.
Challenge Advisory are excited to be able to announce this partnership and the inclusion of The Climate Corporation in an ever-growing list of global disruptors and innovators who will be adding their voices to Agriculture 4.0.
