Challenge Advisory Welcomes Topcon To Sustainable Intensification 2016

Topcon partners with Challenge Advisory at the Agri-business Summit, Brazil: Sustainable Intensification 25-26th October 2016

In May 2016, Challenge Advisory announced a project partnership with Topcon, a global leader in comprehensive precision agriculture, who will be attending Sustainable Intensification 2016 this year in October.

Topcon’s precision agriculture product line is both complete and comprehensive in the agriculture industry, consisting of planting and seeding solutions as well as growing, harvest and farm planning solutions that enable farmers to operate at utmost efficiency.

A key concern for the agriculture sector is achieving high yields under increasing pressure to meet food security demands. With a proven track record of dependable and reliable products that stand up to the challenge of farm work, Topcon combines precision positioning technology and advanced machine control to help farmers increase productivity, reduce inputs and maximise farm revenue. In an effort to keep the farm operating throughout the growing season, dealers have access to 24/7 support from the factory.

Michael Gomes, Vice President of Business Development for Topcon Precision Agriculture, notes: “We are happy to be collaborating with Challenge to help bring Precision Ag technology and our World of Solutions to the Brazilian market. Topcon technology creates value for both farms and farm contractors and cooperatives and we are eager to be a part of the event to showcase our technology to the leading edge companies of the Brazilian marketplace.”

Commenting on Topcon’s involvement, head of Challenge Advisory’s Agri-business, Dr. Aubrey Longmore stated: “Topcon offer a comprehensive view of the precision agriculture industry, not only concerning crop inputs such as seeding, spraying and harvesting, but also with respect to efficiency. As a result, we are greatly looking forward to welcoming them to Brazil. We believe that they can bring a unique view to the current agriculture landscape in South America, and wish them the best of luck presenting their solutions and insights to our key Brazilian and global delegation.”
