To all of our delegates, stakeholders, media partners and to our partners

I would like to say thank you to everyone of you, that helped us in creating something that matters, a forum where we can openly discuss the challenges associated with Sustainable Intensification while finding solutions together, this is the first step.

Over the last 2 days we have received many, many requests from our delegates for the workshop presentations and round table presentations from our stakeholders and our partners. Our team in London will start correlating the information and we will be posting it on our website, simultaneously we will email the links to our network of over 40,000 agriculture professionals.

While I was at the summit I got the chance to sit down with some outstanding people, who truly believed the time was right to instigate change, to look at technologies that could help bring around a carbon low agricultural future, to precision ag companies that can help a farmer reduce their dependance on crop nutrition and inputs, while still helping them improve yield, an incredible organisation that has proprietary technology that can identify the first stages of citrus greening, to organisations who saw the future was the consumer, developing technologies to show the provenance of the food they eat. What was most exciting for me was when I sat with the Co-ops and the farmers they embraced these ideas, there was no fear, these are exactly the type of technologies they are looking to invest in.

I look forward to staying in touch through the year to develop new ideas and suggestions for our next summit in Campinas on the 19th and 20th September 2017.

I would also like to express my gratitude for the way the whole of the delegation helped make this work, willing to meet everyone and anyone to discuss opportunities ideas and potential partnerships.

Thank you to Yasmin and Giovanna at WEPlan, incredible organisation, without you none of this would be possible.

Also Lucas Berti, who I can say was an inspiration to everyone at Challenge Advisory, his drive and determination sometimes through very challenging times never wavered and the success of the summit lays squarely at this feet!

Thank you
