London, August 13th 2018 – Challenge Advisory are delighted to announce that John Plemmons, Californian farmer and agricultural production professional, will be speaking at AG40 in San Francisco from 14-15 November.
John Plemmons will be part of the ‘Understanding the Modern Farmer’ panel. This panel represents one of the main concerns in agriculture today. A broad comprehension of the farmer and their practices, trends, and challenges can help to better address broader challenges within the industry, such as efficiency, sustainability and profitability, helping to enable more concise and productive farming methods whilst reducing costs.
John is a Salinas, California native. He raised market swine for both his local 4-H and FFA chapters from 2000-09. In 2008, his friends started their own organic farms, his first direct experience in vegetable cultivation. He was exposed to every stage of the process, from land preparation to post-harvest. Also, John is an aspiring soil chemist at Cal Poly Pomona, hoping to conduct research in increasing humid content in various soils.
Mr. Plemmons states, “I am very much looking forward to disseminating and sharing ideas with fellow members of the industry in November. I am supremely grateful to be asked to be a part of AG4.0 as we reach this new frontier in agriculture.”
AG40 will be a workshop aimed at improving the understanding of modern agriculture practices and creating interoperable solutions. Join the debate with over 40 speakers, and network with key agriculture experts, academics, stakeholders, and everyone else involved in the agriculture supply chain.
