John Kruse, CTO of PlantResponse, to speak at AG 4.0

London, September 27th 2018 – Challenge Advisory has invited John Kruse Ph.D., – Chief Technology Officer of PlantResponse Biotech to be a speaker at AG 4.0 in San Francisco from 14-15 November 2018.

Dr. Kruse will be speaking on the panel ‘Biotechnology: Challenges & Opportunities’ where discussions will mainly focus on the relation of societal understandings and perspectives on the bio-tech industry in farming, and the question on where resources would be best allocated in relation to the safeguarding of US agriculture and its progression. Also, the discussion will be addressing the Nitrogen’s issue and assessing the advanced technologies for understanding and engineering soil and crop microbiomes, to improve crop yield and food security.

John Kruse is the CTO for PlantResponse Biotech, a company focused on providing products and solutions that enhance plant innate immunity, abiotic stress tolerance and plant nutrient use efficiency. John is an agronomist by academic training, earning his doctorate from the University of Georgia in soil fertility and fertilizers. He served as Assistant Professor for the LSU AgCenter as a crop specialist, and then joined Koch Agronomic Services, serving as a Research Agronomist in nitrogen use efficiency and the biologicals sector. John joined PlantResponse just over a year ago, with responsibilities that include coordinating the company’s R&D efforts, field trial programing, intellectual property strategies, and strategic planning.
