Quality control inspectors will check for defects by sight, sound, feel, smell, or
taste. The two main areas of quality control are Statistical Quality Control (SQC)
and Total Quality Management (TQM<). The methods involved include statistical
quality control, industrial quality control, quality engineering, quality management,
quality functions, and ISO 9000 quality standards. If you are interested in following
this career, you will need to be methodical and exhibit close attention to detail.
