are located. Uniformed police officers are the most high profile of these occupations,
they are responsible for protecting people and their property, enforcing criminal
law, administering criminal justice, and upholding the law. State police officers
patrol the highways and are responsible for upholding traffic regulations, speed

have no jurisdiction outside the correctional facilities in which they work and manage
the well-being, safety, and security of convicted persons. If you have a previous
criminal history, you could well be precluded from employment in some of these occupations.
